3歳よりピアノを始める。高校はピアノ、大学は声楽科を卒業。19歳で尺八と出合い大学卒業後、藤原道山氏に師事。
NHK総合テレビ《うたコン》に出演。ソニーミュージックより発売されたBamboo FluteOrchestra「尺八Classic」でメジャーデビュー。現在様々なジャンルのミュージシャンと共演し、国内外で演奏活動を行う。日本大学藝術学部音楽学科卒業。都山流尺八楽会准師範、師範試験共に首席登第。
